Eric Zimmer - Founder / CEO

Mr. Zimmer is Co-Founder and CEO of Tipping Point Renewable Energy. Mr. Zimmer has more than 13 years' experience starting, growing and 
executing technology businesses. He has worked in all aspects of sales, product management and implementation for clients and partners 
such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Grant Thornton, TIAA-CREF, The Ohio State University, K-Mart, Major League Baseball and the FBI.

Mr. Zimmer has extensive experience in leading small, early-stage startups from product conception to actual sales and eventually to acquisition. 
He has been involved with companies that have been in the Inc 500 and the Columbus Fast 50. Two separate 
products he has helped develop have won Tech Columbus Product of the Year wards.

At the age of 16, he founded and incorporated the Youth Education Assistance Program, which worked to tutor inner city children and 
provide them with college scholarships. With partners such as Huntington Bank, Nationwide Insurance and the Columbus 
Foundation, Mr. Zimmer achieved early successes in organizational growth.

Mr. Zimmer worked for SubmitOrder, a fast growing e-commerce company, where he led the organization's project management office. 
In this position, he supervised the installation and integration of client systems, managed six functional areas, a $40 million budget, and 100
contract workers. He was responsible for the successful deployment of SubmitOrder's first four customers. He was involved in the raising of
$150 million in venture capital which was a record for Columbus at that time.

After SubmitOrder, Mr. Zimmer joined HTP, Inc., a leading provider of software to the health care industry. The company had four employees and only one customer
when Mr. Zimmer joined. Mr. Zimmer helped launch a new line of business that grew to more than 40 customers within two years. Mr. Zimmer then led 
HTP into another new line of business that dramatically increased revenue and margin per customer. This set the stag e for the company's acquisition by McKesson.

Mr. Zimmer joined Sypherlink and helped grow revenue from $50,000 to $1.6 million in his first year. He was also 
actively involved in securing large projects with the FBI, Boeing and US Homeland Security. He worked on both business development as well as project execution 
within the Sypherlink organization.

 

Darin Hadinger

Darin Hadinger - Chief Technology Officer


Mr Hadinger is a the Chief Technology Officer at Tipping Point. He is a LEED AP and has over a decade of experience in the power industry. He was recently with American Electric Power for over six years and provided construction management, field engineering, quality control and project support for environmental retrofits to AEP's Midwest coal fleet.He served as liaison among Architecture/Engineering firms, Project Engineers, Project Management and Construction. He was also heavily involved in job coordination, labor relations, contract negotiations and adherence, schedule adherence, safety, quality control, environmental compliance and permitting. He has extensive experience from cradle to grave in the design, engineering, construction and management of $5 Billion worth of environmental projects. At Riley Power he led the effort to create a "cookie-cutter" design for 800 MW unit SCR retrofits. He redesigned the bypass system to save an initial $4.7 Million per 800MW SCR system, plus maintenance costs. The redesign further optimized the process by reducing costly pressure drops in the SCR systems. It also reduced auxiliary equipment and related support costs.He has also taught and is teaching energy courses at Columbus State Community College. In August, he expects to be certified by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association to teach solar PV. He also holds an OSHA 510 certification. He was also recognized for his fire fighting efforts for rescuing 12 people from a burning building.

Will Kenworthy - Executive Vice President | Marketing, Economics and Business Development




Mr. Kenworthy has more than 20 years experience in the energy industry. His broad policy and industry experience provides a unique perspective on challenges and opportunities presented by solar energy project development.He has worked as a Congressional staff member, in trade associations and co-founded of Governmental Strategies Inc., a federal affairs consulting firm. Will represented electric utilities and other energy industry companies in managing public policy on a number of issues including air quality, climate change, renewable portfolio standard, energy tax, hydroelectric licensing, nuclear waste and human resource policy.He holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Masters in Public and Private Management (MPPM/MBA) from Yale University with a concentration in Regulation and Competitive Strategies. His academic work included extensive coursework in energy markets, energy project finance and air quality regulation. He was a graduate teaching assistant in Political Analysis for Managers.
 
Mr. Kenworthy manages media, government and public affairs for the project team. In addition, he provides financial and economic analysis of projects.
